Angus S. Reynolds was a First Generation Student studying Isshin-Ryu in Okinawa prior to 1960.  He was given a 5-Dan and established Isshin Ryu in the Buffalo/Canada area in the 60's.

Dave Rapp also was a First Generation Student studying Isshin-Ryu in Okinawa 1963-64.

Mike Costello, a Second Generation Student took over after Sensei Rapp passed away in the Buffalo area.

This picture was taken at the New York world Fair in 1964 and is sent to us courtesy of Romney Taylor.

We want to thank Romney Taylor for this great picture.  With his help we are featuring two more of Grandmaster Tatsuo Shimabuku's first generation students.
